Do you offer co-living with individual leases?

​All residents over the age of 18 listed on an application will be responsible for the lease. 

Do you offer co-living?

Our occupancy guidelines allow 2 adults in a 1-bedroom apartment, and 2 adults of nonfamilial status, or 4 residents of familial status in a 2-bedroom apartment.

What leasing options are available?

​We offer furnished short-term leases and standard unfurnished leases. Please call us in the office for more information on available lease terms.

Do I need a lease guarantor?

​Lease guarantors are not required. 

What are your application requirements?

​We require a security deposit (amount based on the size of the apartment) at the application, and the 1st month rent/$100 lock and key charge at move-in.

Can I apply online?

​Absolutely! Our online application can be found on our website, princetonwestford.com.

Is there an application fee?

The security deposit is $300 for a 1-bedroom and $500 for a 2-bedroom. The deposit is refundable if your application is declined or if you cancel within 48 hrs of completing your application.

Is there an application fee?

​No application fees! 

Are there qualifications to be approved to rent?

We run a credit and background check on all applicants 18 and older.  

Do I have to pay first and last month's rent?

Only the first month's rent and $100 lock and key charge are required at move-in.

When is rent due and how can I pay my rent? What forms of payment are acceptable?

​Rent is due on the 1st of the month. We offer an online payment option through a credit card/debit card or checking account; we also accept paper checks and money orders.

Is there a late fee for overdue payments? Is there a grace period?

​We send late rent notices on the 4th of each month.

Are utilities included?

Trash & sewer are included in the rent. Other utilities are the responsibility of the resident. Residents are responsible for their utilities, electric gas, water, and sewer. 

Is renter's insurance required?

​Yes, we require renter's insurance. A minimum of $100,000 in limited liability coverage is required. Proof of policy must be provided to the leasing office prior to move in.

Do you have other items I can rent?

​We offer garages at $250 per month, limited availability

What happens if I need to move out before my lease expires?

​Please inquire in the office about our lease break policy.

Can I sublet the apartment or list it on Airbnb or VRBO?

Our lease does not allow the apartment to be sublet or offered on Airbnb, VRBO, or other short-term rental platforms.

What are the occupancy limits?

We allow 2 residents in a 1-bedroom apartment, and 2 adults of non-familial status, or 4 residents of familial status in a 2-bedroom apartment.

What are hours of the leasing office?

​Leasing office hours are Monday & Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM; Tuesday - Thursday 9 AM - 6 PM; Saturday 10 AM - 4 PM, Closed Sunday. 

What are the hours for the clubhouse?

The clubhouse is open during office hours. 

What are the hours for the fitness center?

The fitness center is open 24/7 for your convenience. Head on over for a workout soon.

What are the hours for the pool?

​The pool is open 11 am to 8 pm 7 days a week (Closed Wednesdays in the month of June)

What are the hours for utilizing the outdoor amenities?

​Outdoor amenities are open 24 hrs.

Do you offer valet trash service and/or recycling?

We do not have a valet trash removal service, but we do have dumpsters for residents to use to dispose of their trash. 

Do you have free internet in the common areas? Do you have cable?

We offer Wifi in the clubhouse through Xfinity. ​We do not provide cable service, but you can set up services with Xfinity.

Do you have package lockers/how do I get my packages?

We do offer a package concierge! It is available 24-hrs through the back door of the clubhouse.

Is storage included? Is additional storage available?

​We do not have additional storage on the property, but the garages can be used as storage units.

How do I reserve community amenities?

​Please call the office to reserve the event tent.

What security features does this property offer?

​Our buildings are controlled access. All residents have FOBS to enter the building and there is a buzzer system with a camera for visitors to buzz in.

Does this community have a pest control service? What kind of insects should I be aware of?

We schedule quarterly pest control around the outside of the buildings. ​We are located in a wooded area, so you will see insects outside. Most residents do not see any insects in their homes.

Are concierge services available?

​We do not offer concierge services, but our leasing consultants can help you find something!

Does the community have bicycle racks?

We offer two bike sheds for residents to store their bikes; we also have bike racks located inside our playground area.

I have a noise complaint. Who do I contact?

​Please call the office to speak about this issue.

What is the smoking policy?

We are pleased to be a smoke-free community.

I have a maintenance/emergency maintenance issue; who do I contact?

For a non-emergency maintenance issue please call the office to put in a work order or log into your resident portal to put in a work order. For emergency maintenance needs use the office number, (978) 692-8020, which will connect to the office or to the call center; and maintenance will be contacted

Do you allow pets? What is the pet policy?

​Yes, we are a pet-friendly community. Indoor cats are permitted. The monthly pet rent per cat is $40.00 per month, not to exceed 2 cats. Additional restrictions apply and will be explained during the leasing process. Dogs of non-aggressive breeds are permitted in certain apartment homes. The monthly pet rent for a dog is $75.00 per month. Additional restrictions apply and will be explained during the leasing process. This policy is subject to change without notice.

What is the parking situation?

​Parking is free. We have unassigned surface parking and assigned garage parking. Garages are available for $250 per month. 

What is the policy for guest parking?

​All parking is first come first serve. Guests can park in any open parking spot.

What is the policy for snow removal?

​Snow removal starts at 9:00 AM the day after the storm stops. We will email each building when they should head out to clean off their cars and move them for snow removal. 

Are there building quiet hours?

Yes. Quiet hours are from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be considerate of your neighbors.

What decorations or changes to the apartment are prohibited?

​We do not allow wallpaper or sheetrock to be put up on any walls. You are able to paint with permission from the office. We also ask that you do not hang anything from/drill holes in the ceiling. 

Are there fees for using the communal spaces?

​No fees to use the clubhouse. We do charge a $25 reservation fee to reserve the event tent.

Are there restrictions for what can be put on balconies or patios?

​Gas and charcoal grills are not allowed on patios or balconies. We also ask that you do not hang bird feeders.

What is the procedure for moving in/out?

Move-In: Please stop in the office to pick up your keys. We have a few pieces of move-in paperwork for you to sign, and then you are all set to go!  

Move-Out: We require a 60-day notice to vacate. On your move-out day, please bring your keys to the office. We will also need your forwarding address. 

Are BBQ grills available? What kind are they?

We offer two gas grills in our patio area, a charcoal grill by Building 5000, and a gas grill with our event tent rental.

Are washers and dryers available? Are they in the apartment?

​All apartments include a Whirlpool washer and dryer.

What appliances are in the kitchen?

We provide the refrigerator, (Whirlpool) dishwasher, electric range/oven, and microwave above the stove. Sinks are equipped with a garbage disposal.

Is there air conditioning?

Yes, central air conditioning is set up in each apartment.

Is there a bathtub or just a shower? Are they together or separate.

In our 1-bedroom apartments, the bathrooms have a tub/shower combination. In our two-bedroom apartments, there are two full baths. Depending on the floorplan, there is a walk-in shower and bathtub OR a soaking tub and standard bathtub/shower combination.

Do these apartments have built-in USB outlets?

​The master bedrooms have USB outlets.

When were these apartments built? Have there been any renovations?

Our property was built in 2014, and we upgrade each apartment as needed upon move out.

What school district serves the community? Which public schools?

Westford schools rank top #10 in Massachusetts
K-2nd grade: Robinson School
Grades 2-5: Crisafulli School
Grades 6-8: Blanchard Middle School
Grades 9-12: Westford Academy.

Is there public transportation nearby? What stop is closest?

​There is a bus stop at the end of our property road. 

How much traffic is there in the area? Are there any times during the day/night that it is heavy?

​You enter our property from Littleton Road, which is a main route, but all of our buildings are located a half-mile down our private road, Princeton Way.
